- The Occupational Safety and Health Regulations require employers to provide specific safety signs whenever there is a risk that has not been avoided or controlled by other means, eg by engineering controls and safe systems of work with the following colours
- Blue: Mandatory
- Red : Prohibition
- Green : Information
- Yellow : Warning

All occupational accidents should be reported within 48hrs to the Labour Monitoring and Compliance Section in the Ministry of Employment, and Social Affiairs except for accidents resulting in a death which should be reported immediately.
