Prosecution Procedures

The procedural provisions that apply in the performance of prosecution are:

1. A Competent Officer may conduct the prosecution for an offence committed under the Act.

2. The Competent Officer receives the case.

3. The offence is checked and the appropriate charge prepared.

4. The charge is filed with the Court.

5. The Competent Officer prosecutes the case in Court when the time comes.

6. The Competent Officer reports on the proceeding in Court until completion of case.

7. Case is sent to appropriate Unit to action Court order.
